The autumn artwork is based on the patterns the fallen leaves on ground in the city. How they are pressed under foot in to pavements and into the grooves of manhole covers. The surface shine of enamel works well to invoke a rainy sheen.

The winter images play on how branches of trees contrast sharply against a frosty sky and how they can be seen through tensile wire, or against brick walls. Ivy is also a depicted encroaching onto manmade surfaces. Suckered to walls and curled around barbed wire. There is a beautiful and a menacing quality to its movement across urban structures.
